AT&T Wants the Pre
In the middle of a now famous game of “AT&T plays defense about its network troubles dealing with its own exclusive toy”, CEO Randall Stephenson talked up his “interest” in the Palm Pre. The quotations were necessary because he did what we here at PMP and surely quite a few of you ultra nerds out there hate worse than being labeled Trekkies without being asked first; he claimed that he sees the Palm Pre in the future for AT&T once Sprint’s exclusivity runs out. This boils our fannies mainly because after a few thousand failed release dates of uber phones on all of the major networks out there you begin to read CEO speak as nothing more than mindless chatter on a radio tuned to WXFM The Liars Lair, Serving up such Golden oldies as, “Still in testing”, “Details are being hammered out” and “We will add it when it is good enough to be on our network”
On three, everyone let out a collective scoff followed by a good ole, “I’ll believe it when I see it”…One….Two…..THREE!!
……nice work people.
