Be A Part of the Pre Community Today!
We’ve only had one person step up and ask to post wallpapers. Thanks kco24!
Come on people! It’s easy! We need to become a community!
This post is a little how-to on how to post your wallpapers, and why you would want to.
1. You must be a registered member of Pimp My Pre
2. Email us at support@pimpmypre.com and say you want to contribute
3. We will change your login privileges so that you may make your own posts AND
****You can add YOUR OWN google adsense code to your posts!****
Ad revenue is what keeps the community open and, best of all, FREE.
We’ve only made 17 cents so far, but we’re just nerdy enough to do it for the love of doing it.
The more posts you have, and the better wallpapers you have, the more chance you have of making money for YOURSELF.
Once you’ve emailed us, we will make you a ‘Contributor’. (Imagine me doing those awful hand quotes.)
When you have received a witty email from me saying that you have received this most prestigious honor, (and tell me if you want to be a forum moderator or anything else too, so I only have to do this once), you can start posting. Your posts will be saved as drafts and we will go in and categorize them, add the code for people to send them to their Pre, and publish them LIVE on the web. Excited? Ok, maybe not, but make your mark on the Pre Community anyway!
When you log in to make your post (Contributors login here), you’ll see where to click to make a post.
Click on that – that would be good. What step is that – oh, hell, it doesn’t matter.
OK, you’ll see a screen like this:
The red circle is where you will click to upload your image.
First, add a title (make sure to put in your username so people can search you), and add a description. Then upload your image using the box that will not be circled by a poorly drawn red oval on your screen, and save it as a draft. If you have an adsense account, click on HTML on the top right and add your code wherever you want it to display in your post before saving (or save again, I don’t care).
Lastly, send us an email that says to get off our asses and post your wallpaper, and we’ll argue over who has to do it, and then get it done.
Also, if you want to use a preview image, upload a 64X64 thumbnail of it and we’ll use that as the preview image. It’s ok if it’s in the post, we’ll get the link and remove it.
That’s it – you’re adding to the comunity and, possibly, if you’re extremely lucky, making big pennies like we are.
